What is the purpose of this website?Simple, we understand that many men are exceptional people that may never get the “their place” in the public forum. We created this website as a novel way to allow guys, their family, friends and admirers, to publish a personal web banner, or link, to honor their Man!
Do I need to have a website?No. ImTheMan.com provides you with the ability to create your own personal banner with a graphic or picture. If you have an existing webpage, you link your banner to your own webpage.
How do I create the personal - Man Banner?Start with “Get Pixels” from the main page. Once there, choose pixel blocks and when done, click “link the fields“, this connects the pixel blocks into a single block. At this next page, you will be given an option, (A) choose one of the icons shown on the page, or, (B) upload your own picture. If you click on one of the icons on the page - this icon will become what visitors see when their mouse rolls-over your block and also what is displayed when the block is clicked. If you choose to upload your own image, click on the “browse” button. You will then be given the ability to browse your computer for the image and upload the image. On the next page, you have three items to complete. If you have a website that you want to be linked to your ImTheMan.com pixel block, enter the URL in the first field. If you DON’T have an existing webpage and YOU WANT TO CREATE A PERSONAL MAN BANNER on the ImTheMan.com website, LEAVE the first field BLANK. Text entered in the “Title” field will be displayed on your personal banner. You may enter up to 150 characters. Once you click the “Save Link” button, you will be connected to PayPal to complete the process.
Can I make any changes to your Man Banner?Yes. You will receive a confirmation e-mail which will contain the username, password and URL information on how to access your pixel block information. You can edit your Personal Banner and link from this access. Note, if you change your previously accepted Man Banner, or link, to contain offensive material as described in the Terms and Conditions, your Personal Banner or will be removed and no refund will be provided.
How much does a Man Banner cost?Your own Man Banner or web link is sold by the pixel. Each pixel is 59 cents USD. Pixels are sold in 10 x 10 pixel blocks, making a 100 pixel block. The reason for the 10 x 10 pixel block is that anything smaller than 10 x 10 pixels is virtually too small to see and almost impossible to even click on. Each pixel block is $59 USD, which less than you would pay for a dinner at a nice restaurant with parking, or less then than the cost of afternoon at the game - not even including the cost of beer. The difference is that the enjoyment of the dinner, or game, lasts only one evening while your Man Banner lasts for many years. And remember - you can edit and change it anytime you would like.
Can I advertise on this site using a Banner?Yes. The content, or link, must still follow the Terms and Conditions.
How long will the banner be posted?At least four years from the time you create the banner.
What’s an easy why to tell my friends about ImTheMan.com?We have included an easy way to tell your friends by using the “Tell A Friend” link on the top of the webpage.
Do I need a picture for my Man Banner?You don't need a picture, but we do recommend you have one. We provide icons for the page, these are what you see displayed on the main page. Clicking, or rolling over, these icons produces your Man Banner to pop-up. The image you upload will be on this pop-up banner.
What size digital picture do I need to provide?Our site will automatically resize the picture. This removes the task of havng to resize your picture. We recommend that it be approxmiately square, 4 x 6 ratio is perfect. It shouldn't be an edited image that is extremely odd shaped like 10 x 100. The reason to keep it near conventional ratios is that the automatic resizing feature may make it too small to see well. Please keep your uploaded picure below 250kb in size, this assures that the picture your visitors see will be clear and easy to see.
